The ID Report

The ID Report is a comprehensive, transnational study focused on understanding and improving diversity and inclusion in Vocational Education and Training (VET). Its primary aim is to gather valuable insights into the experiences, challenges, and needs of young people, especially those from marginalised backgrounds, within VET systems across the partner countries (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Ireland, Slovenia, Spain).

To achieve this, two survey instruments were created: one targeting young people in VET, another aimed at VET professionals. These surveys explore perspectives on diversity, tolerance, inclusion, and civic engagement. The data collected in these forms builds the foundation for developing targeted measures and activities for inclusive learning environments.

The findings of the ID Report inform concrete recommendations: new training programmes, intercultural initiatives, and supportive measures for both students and staff. This work lays an important foundation for the DiMa project’s other activities. It promotes shared values, civic participation, and inclusivity in VET by offering accessible, evidence-based methods that can be implemented across various educational and community settings.
