Diversity Matters!

Learning to live, work & grow together

The world is a diverse place and that is a good thing! Inclusion and diversity are not just big ideas, they are the keys to building fairer, friendlier communities where everyone feels that they belong. But let's face it: not everyone gets the same shot when it comes to education and training. That is where the DiMa project steps in.

DiMa is on a mission to make diversity and inclusion more than just catchphrases in Vocational Education and Training. Whether you are a young person facing extra obstacles and challenges or a professional working in VET, DiMa is here to help shake up old systems and inspire change.

GET CREATIVE AND SHARE VALUES

Promote inclusion in VET and communities, and inspire people to get involved and take a stand.

BUILD CONFIDENCE

Help marginalised young people feel proud of their cultural identities and ready to thrive.

SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS

Support VET staff in embracing diversity, from local classrooms to the European stage.

SPEAK UP

Offer genuine advice to schools, public bodies, and policymakers so they too can support inclusion.

Together with schools, public bodies and policymakers, we are building a future where everyone belongs and thrives. When young people feel valued, they are more likely to get involved, speak up, and help shape their communities.

This is civic engagement and it is what makes the world stronger, safer, and better.

We want to give young people the confidence to show up as themselves and help VET professionals create spaces where diversity is celebrated, not sidelined.

Because inclusion is not optional - it is essential.
Why it matters
  • Many poeple do not fully understand what diversity and inclusion really mean.

  • Marginalised young people – from migrant backgrounds, with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, or just feeling left out – often do not get the support they need.

  • Many current systems are just not working.

What we are doing
  • Raising awareness and starting honest conversations.

  • Providing VET professionals with the skills and strategies needed to mentor all types of learners, no matter their background or challenges.

  • Designing practical, creative tools that support and inspire learners and educators alike.
